We are very excited to share a recent news clip featuring Dr. Drew Moffitt, reproductive endocrinologist at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists. He shares helpful fertility information about the female biological clock for women trying to get pregnant.
It is always hard to give difficult news to patients. How do you tell a young woman that her ovaries are similar to a woman who is about to go through menopause? How do you tell someone that her chances of getting pregnant are close to zero? And what would you do if you received this type of news? It is hard to believe, for one thing. There are treatment options, sure, but it is one of the most difficult scenarios that I deal with in my practice. When this happens, I often wonder if I could have helped a woman have the family she dreamed of if we had only started a little bit earlier. How can that happen? By checking her biological clock as soon as possible.
In this news clip I discuss the biological clock check test. This test offers infertile couples helpful information to make informed decisions about infertility procedures, tests and treatment. I also discuss the following:
- How to cope with anxieties when trying to conceive (TTC)
- The importance of seeking fertility help early, instead of waiting until it’s too late
- The fertility and age connection.

I hope more women choose female fertility testing earlier, before it is too late. You can help! Feel free to share this post with your friends on Facebook, or email the link to your female friends and relatives who plan to have children one day. They will thank you…and so will I.
