ARMS is partnering with the Butterfly Collaborative Cancer Screening Fund
Dr. Drew Moffitt and Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists (ARMS) have joined forces with the Butterfly Collaborative Cancer Screening Fund, fostering an inspiring partnership that bridges fertility care and cancer support. ARMS has established itself as a pioneer in reproductive medicine in Arizona and surrounding states, offering a range of services including in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, and comprehensive fertility evaluations.
The collaboration with the Butterfly Collaborative Cancer Screening Fund underscores ARMS’ and Dr. Moffit’s commitment to supporting patients dealing with complex health journeys, including cancer, which can greatly impact fertility.
About the Butterfly Collaborative, cancer screening & prevention non-profit
Butterfly Collaborative is a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer prevention and support, particularly among under-resourced communities. Its Woman’s Cancer Screening Fund specifically focuses on improving access to cancer screening and treatment, primarily through early detection initiatives such as HPV screening in vulnerable regions like Malawi, Africa.
With 1 in 5 African women developing cervical precancer and Malawi having the second highest cervical cancer rate in the world, early screening saves lives and families. By providing these screenings at minimal costs, the fund significantly reduces the mortality risk associated with cervical cancer and supports efforts to extend life-saving interventions to women who might otherwise lack access.
Cervical cancer screenings & HPV testing medical missions
The ARMS and Butterfly Collaborative partnership is grounded in the shared goal of empowering patients with both preventive and supportive care options. As project leader, Dr. Moffitt contributes to these efforts in cervical cancer screening and HPV testing by participating in medical missions in Malawi. Inspired by his faith, Dr. Moffitt has committed his time to helping the women of Malawi and has personally traveled to Malawi to volunteer on three separate occasions.
Donate to help save women’s lives through vital cancer screening
Through joint efforts, ARMS and the Butterfly Collaborative Cancer Fund aim to raise donations for resources to extend support to global initiatives, such as helping purchase HPV testing equipment ($15,000) and mobile colposcopes ($3,000) to help save women’s lives.
